Why Am I Doing This?

The first reason is simple: I saw my mom do it. She owned a business, and she was incredible at it. As a seamstress, she crafted beautiful garments for amazing brands like Roxy, Piko, Splash Hawaii, and more. But what stood out the most to me wasn’t just her success—it was how much she loved what she did.

Growing up, I always admired my mom and wanted to follow in her footsteps, making a living by doing something I truly love. While I do well at my 9-to-5 job, it's not something I created or own. Now, as I get older, I find myself on a journey to become an entrepreneur, to create something that's mine.

And so, I started making car fresheners.

It all began one Christmas when my sister-in-law gifted me a car freshener from a company specializing in scents inspired by the Hawaiian Islands. Her business has since grown into something truly remarkable, and while I admired her success, I realized that I could create these products too. I’ve always had a passion for candles and a bit of an obsession with them, but I wanted to create something flameless—something that could bring beautiful scents into spaces in new and unique ways.

That’s how I started with car charms. They were small, manageable, and allowed me to experiment with finding the right fragrances. These charms also became my introduction to starting an online business. I’m still new to this journey, and there’s so much to learn, but I’m having a blast creating products that are now freshening up cars and homes.

But I don’t want to stop at charms. I want to bring these incredible island fragrances into homes and eventually create a line of body products. The scents I’ve discovered are so divine that they shouldn’t be limited to our cars alone.
